San Onofre needs to be shutdown as it has been an accident waiting to happen for years. Now if we can just close Diablo Canyon and decommission all coastal nuclear reactors, we might have a brighter future. Start by conserving, installing more residential solar, and using smart metering. Spend the millions they will use to repair San Onofre and devote that money to conservation.
