yes... awake
Jul. 24th, 2011 03:52 amYes, I'm awake. The air seemed heavy or too still, or something.. all I know was I woke and now I'm waiting for the dawn. A lot of thoughts run through my head, in dreams, so maybe it was one of those.
The local fire is now over 10500 acres and still growing. They have called in the national guard to fly fire crews into remote areas to fight the blaze. One story is yesterday one drew had to run like hell to escape being trapped by the fire. Imagine having to run in full fire fighting gear (that weighs almost 60 pounds) if your life depended on it. These people are heroes in the truest sense.
Oh well, sit here, cruise on Google + and do some reading of news and views, waiting for the collapse of western civilization, No, we also have to worry about militant christian zealots who are upset that we don't have their world view and now have decided that they want to be the new Taliban. I wonder sometimes if Bin Laden wasn't just a mercenary for the Republican Party and their corporate masters? He once did work for that 'company' that fights secret wars in support of exploitation of people and resources, the CIA. He would be so proud at how the people he attacked are so willing to bring down their own country just to make his dreams real. Wake up people, Bin Laden won...the Taliban have been relabeled and call themselves the GOP.
Hey, we don't need no Al-Qaida, we have the Republican Party.
