Waiting

Got the truck in for some much needed service. Its the only way to make a truck last for many miles.

Sunny, hot, and much to do today. The transfer station is open so I can haul a lot. Got major laundry to do. Got to work on finishing off a tree I started cutting down.

Then I hope to clean and service my bike, and organize some things in the barn. Once I get it cleaned out, I can save by doing some of my own maintenance. I inherited my fathers tools and as he was a mechanic I got them all.

More later...

Took this shot of the truck in its native environment, dirt, live oaks, clear sky.

Trucks are made for hauling, and I got a lot of stuff that needs hauling. I have old furniture that will go to the transfer station, a freezer (chest type) I need to move out to somewhere. I have a working dishwasher that I'll recycle. I got a lot of scrap iron to find a place to to call home. I have a motorcycle that has to be loaded, tied down properly, and delivered to the dealer for some much needed maintenance.

I got a road to drag (it's getting a bit washboardy) and brush to haul. I got trees to cut down, cut up and haul. I got a bunch of stuff to haul to the local swapmeet to sell.

Yeah, a truck is vital sometimes.
