people in tents
Nov. 24th, 2011 06:51 amI always wonder why cities worry about protesters living in tents. I figure if you are living on the street or in a park it should be considered a basic human right to have some form of shelter from the weather. If they are so concerned about sanitary conditions, make an effort to fix the situation don't condemn it. This article is about people living in tents, but the government doesn't seem to care one bit, maybe because these are native peoples, and they have always been ignored.
This day of thanksgiving be thankful you are not on the street, and you have shelter, and that you aren't subject to being beaten or teargassed or pepper sprayed because you are unhappy with the current economic condition and are protesting this injustice. Posted on Dreamwidth
